Hello 2025…Allow Me to Introduce Myself!
Happy New Year! I hope you are fresh off of a happy holiday filled with food, fun, friends and family!
Since you have found and hopefully explored my website you may already have a good feel for what I do. And despite having a page which includes a bit “about me” I feel like it has been a while since I properly introduced myself and shared with you what I a I do and why I do it. So here we go with a proper introduction to ring in the New Year!
Hi! I’m Laurie Cesati. I am the owner of Young Pups Photography. I see myself as a problem solver. Not of ALL problems or dilemmas, but of at least one that may be of interest to you….
I am a creator of memories. My super power is that I can freeze time.
I LOVE that I have about one zillion old family photographs in my possession. I know what my parents looked like as kids and what my grandparents and their siblings looked like as kids. I know what type of cool cars they drove, what their holiday décor looked like and where they took their families on vacation. I laugh at the goofy images of my siblings and I in every horribly silly plastic Halloween costume, dance recital tutu and our finest BIG hair moments! I treasure the old family wedding photos and grandfathers’ military photos that were saved and passed down generation to generation.
The images document my family’s story through the years. For better and yes sometimes for worse (we ALL have some of those awful awkward teen school photos kicking around right?). But, ultimately I wouldn’t trade them for the world and I bet you wouldn’t either.
In happy times such as weddings doesn’t the display of old childhood photos of the bride and groom give everyone a good laugh, a nostalgic glimpse of the past and possibly a peek at what their future family might look like? In times of tragedy with the loss of a property or worse, a loved one (person or pet), what is the first thing we all go in search of? The old photos. They become priceless to us in times when we need to laugh (and sometimes cry) about days gone by.
THIS is what I do for you:
I capture baby’s sweet and sleepy first days at home.
I capture the tireless toddler days.
I capture the first day of kindergarten to your high school senior’s photos.
I capture your four-legged fur baby family members.
This is your greatest creation. This is your legacy.
DOCUMENT IT.
PHOTOGRAPH IT.
TREASURE IT.
I Promise You’ll Never Look Back At The Images And Wish You Hadn’t Done It.
So don’t wait! The time is now! Allow me to freeze time for you.
What is YOUR family’s story?
Camera in hand – Sneaks on my feet – I’m ready for the CHASE!
“The best thing about a picture is that it never changes, even when the people in it do.”
~ Andy Warhol
